Job Overview: As a Senior Cloud Engineer at Corvex Innovations, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of our cloud-based solutions. This is an on-site position that requires a deep understanding of cloud technologies, particularly AWS, and proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Rust. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement scalable cloud architectures using AWS services to support the company's growth and innovation goals. - Collaborate with software developers, system operators, and other IT staff members to manage code releases and ensure seamless integration of cloud services. - Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure scripts and automation tools using Python and Rust to streamline operations and improve efficiency. - Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to optimize system performance and reliability. - Ensure the security of the cloud infrastructure by implementing best practices and conducting regular security assessments and audits. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior cloud engineers and other team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. - Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in cloud computing and recommend new technologies and practices to enhance our cloud solutions. - Participate in the development of disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure the availability and integrity of cloud services. - Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and solutions. Required Skills and Qualifications: - Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role, with a strong focus on AWS cloud services. - Proficiency in programming languages, particularly Python and Rust, with the ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code. - Extensive experience in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions, with a deep understanding of cloud architecture principles and best practices. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure issues. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. - A proactive and innovative mindset, with a passion for staying at the forefront of cloud technology advancements. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
